The Ray Baum’s Act- New Hotel Compliance

As of January 2021, a new safety requirement was passed for the hotel industry. Known as The Ray Baum’s Act, this new legislation requires multi-line telephone systems (MLTS), for example PBXs, to provide “dispatchable” 911 location information. For hotels, that means data such as Room Number, Floor Number, Building Number, etc. Our friends at Jet Hotel Solutions have put together an industry specific document that is well written and comprehensive white paper on this subject. You can find that information at this link: https://www.jethotelsolutions.com/get-ray-baums-ready/
